Jacques Vert Plc. said its full-year like-for-like sales were 0.5 percent lower than last year, and, as a result, it now sees a full-year profit of 4 million pounds to 4.5 million pounds, which is below the current market expectations of 5 million pounds.
The women's clothing retailer said its stock levels have been 'well controlled' and are likely to be lower than at the previous year end.
Jacques Vert also said that its cash generation has been 'strong' during the year with a net cash in excess of 2 million pounds at the year end, compared with a net debt of 0.9 million pounds as at April 2007. |
